This Blog will follow the non motorized crossings of the United States by a retired Conservation Officer who worked 30 years in law enforcement. The crossings are challenges for the author and fulfill a life long committment to maintaining a healthy life style through non motorized aerobic activities. The crossings provide an exciting way to see our great country and will hopefully inspire the reader to plan a "crossing" of their own, even if it does not entail crossing the entire country.

Wow What a beautiful place. It looks so warm and lush. The hiking sounds nerve racking but wonderful. It would be great to be there with you!!!
We have been skiing at St. John's and camp. We head to Kathio next Saturday. It is still white and cold here!
Loving the pics. It's been a year already since we hiked the Coast, but the pics brought it all back.
